If there is any possibility to save the OBA carb that would be an ideal solution! The reason why I thought I can not save it are the same as you mentioned, because they are rare and it might get very expensive. I think the only main problem is the middle part that the floater holds on to an the fuel goes thru ( see pictures below). From what I could find on the internet that’s the typical problem with it. I will be looking for a BING carburettor either 8A30 or one of the 1/23/xx?, but I was hoping I could get away with doing a “quick temporary fix”. As they say, patients is a blessing…

I have found on Swedish Ebay a BING 1/23/11. Do you think it might work?

I went quickly thru this forum and I can see that it allready will be a lot of help Especially the whole process shared by hakoandi in 2014!

I am overall very happy with my Hacotrac T8, and I will do my best to restore it well! I will try to share the process here. 😊

Wenn es eine Möglichkeit gibt, den OBA-Vergaser zu retten, wäre das eine ideale Lösung! Der Grund, warum ich dachte, ich könne es nicht retten, ist derselbe, den Sie erwähnt haben, weil sie selten sind und es sehr teuer werden könnte. Ich denke, das einzige Hauptproblem ist der mittlere Teil, an dem der Schwimmer festhält und durch den der Kraftstoff fließt (siehe Bilder unten). Nach allem, was ich im Internet finden konnte, ist das das typische Problem damit. Ich werde nach einem BING-Vergaser suchen, entweder 8A30 oder einen vom 1/23/xx?, aber ich hatte gehofft, dass ich mit einer „schnellen vorübergehenden Reparatur“ durchkommen könnte. Wie sie sagen, sind Patienten ein Segen ...

Ich habe dieses Forum schnell durchgesehen und kann sehen, dass es bereits eine große Hilfe sein wird Vor allem der gesamte Prozess, den hakoandi im Jahr 2014 geteilt hat!

Nun zum Fall:

Ich habe den T8 kürzlich auf dem FB-Marktplatz gekauft. Es ist in gutem Zustand, aber es fehlen einige Teile und der Strom ist unterbrochen.

Das Hauptproblem für mich ist, dass der originale OBA-Vergaser nicht mehr zu retten ist. Ich möchte den Traktor in Zukunft so gut wie möglich restaurieren, möchte ihn aber erst einmal zum Laufen bringen, damit ich und mein Sohn ihn diesen Sommer genießen können.

Ich weiß, dass der Motor funktioniert, weil ich es mit etwas Benzin im alten Vergaser versucht habe.

Weiß jemand, ob ich relativ günstig einen neuen Vergaser kaufen kann, der zum ILO L252 passt? Vielleicht etwas von Amazon oder Aliexpress? Oder hat vielleicht jemand eine andere Idee, wie man es zum Laufen bringt, ohne zu viel Geld auszugeben?

Now to the case:

I have recently purchased the T8 out of FB marketplace. It's in decent condition but it misses few parts and electricity is disconnected.

The main problem for me is that the original OBA carburettor is beyond saving. I would like to restore the tractor as well as I can in future, but for now I would really like to get it running so that me and my son can enjoy it this summer.

I know that the engine works because I tried it with a little bit of petrol in the old carburettor.

Does anyone know if I can buy a relatively cheap new carburettor that would fit the ILO L252? Maybe something from Amazon or Aliexpress? Or maybe somebody have other ideas how to get it running without spending too much money?

I appreciate all the suggestions / comments!
